I have had my first pill this morning one hour ago and I am starting to feel so sleepy. Is this usual?
I have to take half a benzo too. If I do this I had to go to my bed.

Hello, lizzyjb.

Yes, apparently drowsiness is a possible side-effect of Fluoxetine; I took it for a few years, a while ago, and I also recall drowsiness here 'n there. I'm not sure about "benzo", though, as I've never heard of it, sorry. I still have an old pack of Fluoxetine, and double-checked via the piece of paper that comes with it, and it's confirmed - drowsiness, tiredness, and fatigue are all possible.

I mean benzodiacepin, lorazepan. In Spain is known as Orfidal. It is for relax. By I am so relaxed at the moment. If I take one maybe I will sleep all the day and now it's 23 past ten in the morning... I have to do my houseworks

Most benzos will make you sleepy. I take Prozac but I also take it with a benzo so I don't know if I can blame Prozac or not.

I take Prozac and feel drowsy in the morning, but I believe that's the Zyprexa that makes me so drowsy, so I am not sure.

I took prozac (lowest dose) for a while. It caused me chronic insomnia. Benzodiazepines just relax and calm me (no drowsiness).
Thanks for this!
