i was put on it, looking back i cant really tell how effective it was... but since starting seroquel i've slipped into depression so maybe it was helping my depression more than i could tell

the only thing that i didn't like is how hungry it made me, i gained 30lbs (Zyprexa 15mgs)

Hey!

I was on 10mg per day for about 4 years...during which time...it controlled my symptoms rather well, but I developed an immunity to it after 4 years.

Side effects-I did have some hair loss, but it came back after I stopped the drug.

I was put on this a little under a year ago, and I have to say it works really well (I'm on 10mg, but I also take 6mg Risperdal). However it took a couple of weeks to get used to the initial sedation and it still makes me really, really hungry.

Hi, I take 10mgs daily, although sometimes 15mgs on bad days. For me it has been very effective in treating positive and some negative symptoms. I find that it helps me alot with getting my thought under control and helps me stay mentally stable. The main side effect for me has been weight gain, I've gained nearly 20-30 pounds in about a year. That and it is initially somewhat sedating, but the body gets used to it after a while. In terms of sedation, it's nowhere near as bad as Seroquel though.
