Has anyone taken Navane? Did it work for you? What side effects did you notice?

Years ago I was prescribed Navane. I found it quite helpful for clearing my mind so I didn't feel the derealization I always feel. All in all, Navane was helpful for me. I don;t recall what the circumstances of stopping it were.

Navane is nbot prescribed very much any more because of it's rather severe warnings about cardiovascular issues. At least, that supposedly why it's not as popular. I wonder if the real reason is because Navane is very inexpensive & the drug companies would rather people use the newer, expensive AP's.

I wonder about that too. I have taken a lot of different meds, and they all have terrible side effects, many of which are life threatening. Navane seems to work for me, and the side effects are not as bad as Zyprexa, Abilify, or Haldol.

Well, if the navane is helping you stick with it, at least for a while.
