My psychiatrist took me off of cymbalta and put me on zoloft. I was taking 60mg of cymbalta, and he had me stop it all at once and start taking 50mg of zoloft for a week, and then go up to 100mg.

Tomorrow is the 7th day, I'll take 50mg for this last day and on the next day increase that to 100mg.

The only thing I notice right now is I'm getting up very early in the morning and I feel weak and agitated. But I think I lucked out on the withdrawal from cymbalta. Anyone else have this experience?

hartbroken, Hopefully this will pass soon when you increase the Zoloft to 100mg. If not, check with your psychiatrist or pharmacist.

This morning is the first day of taking 100mg of Zoloft from 50mg. I still don't notice much change in mood or side effects. I guess that's a good thing.

hartbroken, Give the med change time to work. When do you go back to your doctor?

I see him in 3-1/2 weeks. Right now I feel very easily angered and agitated.
