Hello boards... it's been a while since I've posted but after 3 years of trying to find stability with a medication regimen, my new pdoc suggested that many of my problems may have been caused by the medication itself. As such, we're doing a medication free trial that I started about 13 days ago. I was already at the lowest dose of Brintellix when this decision was made so I discontinued immediately.

3 days after my final is when the withdrawal hit. I felt very fluish and over the past 8 days have been dealing with dizzy spells, muscle aches, zaps, fatigue, heightened anxiety and low moods. How long is this supposed to last? I was hoping that I would have started to feel better now. Any insight would be appreciated.

Hello, busub. Does your psychiatrist know about what is going on? Do not suffer in silence. Be your own best advocate.

I wish you well.

I phoned him last Friday and told me to consider reinstating a lower dose of the brintellix this past Sunday if I hadn't improved. I have moments where I feel somewhat improved and other moments where I don't so I haven't reinstated it yet. I have a follow up with him in about 10 days.
