Hello boards... it's been a while since I've posted but after 3 years of trying to find stability with a medication regimen, my new pdoc suggested that many of my problems may have been caused by the medication itself. As such, we're doing a medication free trial that I started about 13 days ago. I was already at the lowest dose of Brintellix when this decision was made so I discontinued immediately.
3 days after my final is when the withdrawal hit. I felt very fluish and over the past 8 days have been dealing with dizzy spells, muscle aches, zaps, fatigue, heightened anxiety and low moods. How long is this supposed to last? I was hoping that I would have started to feel better now. Any insight would be appreciated. |

Hello, busub. Does your psychiatrist know about what is going on? Do not suffer in silence. Be your own best advocate.
I wish you well. |

I phoned him last Friday and told me to consider reinstating a lower dose of the brintellix this past Sunday if I hadn't improved. I have moments where I feel somewhat improved and other moments where I don't so I haven't reinstated it yet. I have a follow up with him in about 10 days.
