I have been treated for depression for about 15 years now. And after many attempts to not use meds I have come to the understanding that the Doctors who say I have a chemical imbalance must be correct. That being said, three months ago after another experiment of not taking meds and becoming totally crazy I went back to my Doc and am now on Prozac, and I also have a script for zanex that I take usually for sleep. My question is this. I read in the pdr type book that zanex is for short term use. Is this for everyone or am I just obsessing again about meds in general. Do any other people have this kind of issue regarding being afraid of meds etc. Could I just be over thinking this whole issue. I am feeling much better as of late and I don't have any side affects of either medication I am taking. And do any others quit taking your meds and not tell anyone until your like me, almost in a condition that you need to be locked up.
Your help would be most appreciated. Illusion24

I never giva nyone Xanax for sleep, for reasons I have written many times here. I would switch to Ambien or Lunesta soon.
