Yes I have heard of it, though personally have never taken it. I have seen it in the Nuritional Center and is some type of herbal suppliment, if you are on any meds or thinking about trying it you may want to talk it over with an MD. These herbal suppliments are not approved by the FDA and can interact with certain medications.

I knew a woman who tried it for energy and depression about a year ago and she claimed that they did not do much for her after taking them for about a month.

I would say that a physician would know more of the 'truth' of the herbal suppliment verses a store person, as they claim all of their products are safe and 'natural' I would be careful with the herbal suppliments

One thing I do know, have read and was told by a pdoc, that if one is Bipolar, do not use Sam-E, it can have negative results, even trigger moodswings.
Other than that I do not have much to add here.
Take care,

I haven't heard of it, i'd be cautious though becaue it could interact badly with something you could be taking, whether it's anxiety meds, anti-depressants or even asprin and different foods.

I'd talk to my doctor, you probably shouldn't be taking it if you are already on meds.

Best to talk to your doctor or pharmicist about this. You definatly don't want something to go wrong with adverse reaction etc...
