I don't know if u can answer this for me but I'd figure I'd ask, so here goes... I was wondering; I am diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, and I've had two hospitalizations in the past month where they did radical med changes, taking me off meds some that I've been on for atleast a year... zyprexa, prozac, they tried lamictal, and some others I can't think of They just took those away without tapering off (didn't know how long these drugs could be in ur system and what not, and put me back on geodon and depakote anyway, there are some weird things that I was wondering if it was symptoms of my illness, my body going through like med withdrawls, or side effects of current meds I'm on; I've been noticing some weird things that in some respects are kind of scarry... I'm vision impaired, but I've noticed my vision is sometimes worse, but not blurry; Some things look like they change in shape like my mom's nose looked distored but looked real; tv with real people looked like a cartoon but was not; things that are inanimate looked like they were moving and I woiuld like to note that I know that these are not due to substance abuse.. Just wondering if u could clarify this for me? Thanks a lot.-- Danielle

Sounds like psychotic symptoms to me. These could be from all the med changes, but if you were hospitalized so much there must be some pretty severe symptoms going on. I would say stay with what you are doing and give it a chance.
