I am not familar with it either. I suggest you ask your pharmacist about it. Maybe someone will come along soon who knows about it personally.

It eliminated my voices, but it felt too "strong" in my head. I stopped it and am living with the voices.

It's a first generation typical antipsychotic. I've personally never tried it or researched it, but maybe just call a pharmacist for a better idea! Good luck!

Never heard of that one. I use Prazocin, what they give to vets with PTSD. Nightmares all gone. Lithium gave me horrible nightmares.

thanks for the feedback
i dont have hallucinations or voices, so im not really sure what the pdoc was trying to accomplish... all i remember is telling him that i have alot of nightmares everynight and he said 'lets try this' and i was like, "err ok sure" the other doc asked me about the medicine and asked if i have hallucinations or voices in which i said no and she replied with a "hmm" im going to ask my other pdoc today about it... and hopefully get a replacement for the trazodone that doesnt help at all
