I hear voices coming from outside my head. My doc has me on perphenazine for this. I hate it...I can't drive and it gives me a headache. Anyone have any med that worked for them? Thanks.

So sorry to hear, idk personally, thankfully, but I've heard Clozaril is pretty helpful. Best of luck!

Risperidone can be quite effective, and it is inexpensive. Good luck.

Hi, I would recommend Zyprexa, it is a powerful med when dealing with voices. If you do take it be prepared for weight gain and some sedation at first (the sedation went away for me after some time). Based on my experiences, I would recommend it, but everyone reacts differently to meds so your experience may differ.

An AP would probably be a good Idea , But I would request on that it be weight neutral .

Abilify helps with voices and mood. It's only side effect I encountered was some jitteryness but that seemed to calm down after a few weeks.
