I've been on Clonopin for over 10 years and am tired of taking it. I really don't want to be on a benzo any more. I've tapered off of it before...a long and tedious process, and I know I am looking at a long tapering off period again.

This is my question: If you have been able to get off of Clonopin yourself, what things seemed to help with the process? I'd like to make the process as painless, and as easy as possible. I'd like to do as many things as possible to support my poor old nervous system as I can, while tapering off.

Thanks!

I am gradually tapering off of it now. And I, too, would like to know what might help in the process!
