Every time my pdoc starts me on a new med or increases a med, I'll feel some sort of effect for maybe a week (placebo?) then I level right back out to where I was before I was even on medication. Sometimes I wonder if I'm being given fake pills, lol.

Or this pdoc has such a method to her madness that the meds really are making a difference but it's a slow going thing that I don't notice.

Here is how the story has been going :

in about mid April she started me on 25mg of Lamictal and prescribed me klonopin (as needed). Then every 3 to 6 weeks she increased my Lamictal.

Just last week she increased me to 100 MG of lamictal. Then she added Buspar (5mg 3 times a day). At first I felt weird and sort of off but slightly elevated, nauseous, dry mouth... But now I'm back to where I was..... Except my stomach has been messing with me.

Wtf?

You're on like the lowest dose or close to the lowest. For instance, I'm on 600mg of Lamictal, and recently started Buspar and now I'm on 60mg. I'd say the doses are just too low to have much of an effect on you! Best of luck!

Ya, at those dosages you won't have many positive effects!

I'm currently out of that I really like. I was put on it I don't remember first day but all of the sudden I felt great. I got up I did cleaning I it affected everything exactly I wanted to. But it wore off in a couple weeks. I saw my doctor after that. I asked her to increase it. And we kept doing that until we got to a level that I kept making me feel that way every day. And I have been on that level sense. It's only been a month or so but I think this is enough.
