i asked last week about 'black box warnings' and paxil. well i've been on the paxil 2-3 weeks now and i think my sui thoughts are getting worse. also, i've had the urge to si and i haven't had that in a while
![]() i messaged my t to ask him if he remembers how i was three weeks ago because i wanted to compare to where i'm at now. i think the paxil is making things worse which sucks because my anxiety has significantly decreased!! ![]()

Maybe you can try lowering your dose? It can be dose dependent. I take 20mg of Prozac now the depression is ok. The irritability and anxiety isn't completely gone, but they're much better. I was at 60mg originally and I was terribly depressed: crying, empty, just awful. A dose change could be helpful. |

From my experience, stay away from Paxil. Can you try another med?
