Has anyone ever had to switch manufacturers of Adderall because the pharmacy gave you a different kind? When I first was prescribed adderall, I got the Barr manufacturer generic brand amphetamine salts, and at 10mg it worked really well. But then one day a few months ago my pharmacist gave me mallinckrodt instead, and that is dextroamphetamine, and it did not work as well. So I complained about it to my pdoc and she increased my adderall up to 15 then to 20mg. It worked alright but still not as good as Barr. A few days ago I went to get my adderall filled and they are giving me barr again! So I was like, yay I get the good working stuff again! But I took a 20mg tablet this morning and it made me really groggy and foggy and tired. Just like it used to when i first started taking it. Do you think I just need to get used to the Barr manufacturer again? Anyone have any experience with either Barr or mallinckrodt? I'm sick and tired of them switching the manufacturers all the time and messing with my brain, I don't have time to adjust to a new brand cause I have an effing term paper and presentation to do for school!

Sorry no one has answered.
I really don't know. Isn't dextroamphetamine different than adderal?
