I am now off effexor totally. Having tapered down from 225. I had physical problems on it, that and the price I knew I had to go off it. I was wondering if I needed to go back on an snri, has anyone been on FETZIMA. I would love to hear from people that are on it. Just in case, better safe than sorry..

Never been on Fetzima but I hear it is a stronger form of Cymbalta. If you're concerned with the cost of Effexor then Fetzima might not be a good idea since it is not generic and likely won't be for awhile.

Cymbalta might be a good option. Why do you want to go back on?

I am on Fetzima and it has worked better than any other and I have tried them all. Effexor was one of the better ones for me but pooped. There is generic Effexor. Venlafaxine. Fetzima has been great so far.

I was on Fetzima, and it didn't workout for me. I gave it 4 weeks, maybe not long enough...so I went back to my prior AD, Pristiq. I tend to do much better on the SSNRI's, so I was really disappointed the latest one didn't do anything for me.

I thought Fetzima was an SNRI?

I have terrible social anxiety and have just had a few hours of blubbing over nothing really. I dont want to get really bad like I have done and ended up in hospital. I am keeping an open mind about my depression, after all people that cry dont mean that they have depression. Just in case plus my husband said I am a nightmare to live with. The generic will still cost me 144 euro a month so it makes no difference over here. Sorry for the long post.

Does it help with anxiety. Maybe you are on seperate meds for that.

Oh I see. Well maybe you will be fine without it but definitely doesn't hurt to be prepared if not.

Fetzima is an SSNRI.

Yes I take klonopin for anxiety and started that before Fetzima so I can't really say. I know the klonopin totally wiped out the horrible anxiety I was having.

I just went off of nardil because of the side effects. My doctor is trying Fetzima and I am scared it won't work. Did anybody try this drug with good results.
