[Hopeful Camel]

I'm weaning off of a number of my meds, under doctor's supervision. But currently I am taking 20mg of Saphris, mainly for sleep. But a funny thing happened yesterday.

I recently started on Abilify, which has helped me quite a bit. I fell asleep after I took my Abilify, but before I took my Saphris. I've never missed the Saphris before.

Well, funny thing is, I slept ALL NIGHT and felt *rested* in the morning. Usually, with the Saphris, I am waking at 2-3am, anxious, and unable to go back to sleep. Usually when I take the Saphris, I pass out, literally, in 15 minutes.

Has anyone else had problems with Saphris *interfering* with sleep and / or causing anxiety? Thanks!

I've been on it for a few months now and it may actually be helping me sleep better.

I dropped my dose down to 10 mg at bedtime and I am sleeping much better. I'm still having some anxiety, but not the racing thoughts between 2-5am.

I'm going to continue to taper off of this med and see if I continue to get better. The only thing I've noticed that is negative is that I am feeling depressed/anxious during the day, and I've upped my zyprexa. Not sure if this is a trade-off.
