Hello,
I've been hit by two bad viruses in the past two weeks. I've really been ill. One eve I realized I had taken 75 mg Benadryl, 2 Aleve, 2 Tylenol Cold along with my 800 mg gabapentin and was just about to take 5 mg Ambien and thought I might croak myself with all that on board! ![]() Your thoughts? Thanks, Okie

You should check with your doctor/shrink before taking medications in addition to your prescribed one(s). You want to make sure there are no contraindications. I have anxiety, and I don't take cold medicine, because cold meds can cause anxiety. I use Airborne and lots of orange juice when I have a cold. Since I tend not to eat much when I have a cold, I often just have some soup, and I usually feel stronger after that.
