My muscles are weak and skin has no elasticity. I'm wondering can it be because of taking xanax daily for 2-3 years.
Doctor told me I have muscle weakness which is not typical for that young woman.
I know that benzos relax muscles.
So maybe they lose their power and skin its elasticity?
What about others?

I'm training as much as I can and I can just a little and I'm scared that xanax ruins everything.
I want to quick it but it's so f***ing hard.

I am sure they relax muscles but I don't think it cause muscle mass loss. Never heard of that. Training with weights would be the best to add muscle mass.

My husband take khlonopin and lifts very heavy weights in the gym about 6 days a week. I don't think it would have any long term affect of weakness of the muscles. I could definitely understand relaxed, but not weak.

I can't find anything in PubMed (the standard source of information published by evidence-based biomedical professionals) which suggests that Xanax can lead to muscle weakness or mass loss.
