I was prescribed this recently by my doctor. Has anyone ever taken this before, and if so, what was your experience? It's a relatively new drug, which means I can't find a lot of information about it online. When I found out it was half cough medicine, I was a bit skeptical...but supposedly it can work wonders for treatment-resistant depression.

I just can't believe that they start to threat people with DEXTROMETHORPHAN

I'm really interested in this med, I abused DXM two years ago, it's just so unbelieveable that doctors officially prescript DXM for depression, we knew about it five years ago

Honestly I've been on it for a week and two days now...(was too scared to give it a fair college try last time)...and I haven't felt this good in a LONG time. I think it really is working. I'm amazed. I can't believe something like this would be prescribed for depression. I was one of those unlucky few who never responded to normal SSRIs. Go figure!

DXM is an SSRI as well. If it works in such low doses I might take a tea spoon or two every morning.
