I started saphris 5mg 4 days ago and the first three days I slept great at night and felt so good in the day and being enthusiastic and passionate about things. Now suddenly I feel more depressed and sad? Is this normal when starting out? I have major depression and general anxiety and mood swings. I also take pristiq 100mg. I also feel more anxious. I was just feeling fine but now this?

Valerieanne, sorry to hear you are feeling depressed. Thank you for reaching out and sharing your story. I have no experience with Saphris but I did find some links on Psych Central that describe similar side affects.

Psych Central - Search results for Saphris side affects

Contacting your psych doc to see if this is normal would be a very good idea.
