During the holidays my mood had been trending downwards (I know a lot of you felt the same way) so my p doc added 150 mg of Wellbutrin to my daily meds, along with Effexor (venlafaxine) 300 mg. I've had different anti depressants over the past couple years, and Effexor had been the best so far. But the Wellbutrin wasn't making much of a difference so he bumped it up to 200 mg twice a day. His thought that the second dose in the afternoon would give me more energy and help me get through the day. My energy, I believe, has gotten worse, along with my mood, complete with a major breakdown at work on Friday. Has anyone had the same issue.
