Good Morning everyone!

Is anyone on a combo of lamictal/lamotrigine & abilify? I recently started abilify and it seems to have decreased my anxiety and paranoia.

I took cymbalta over the summer and it sent me into the worst manic episode I've ever had. Followed by months of depression. I tried Latuda and it made me flatline and apathetic. I felt like my head was in the clouds and it made me more depressed. I've cannot take SSRI's or SNRI's as all have made me manic. I'm pretty limited in what I can take and my DR doesnt want to prescribe some of the meds like zyprexa, seroquel etc because of the weight gain issue. (I'm already fat!)

I started the abilify 2 weeks ago and I'm on a low dose right now. I'm scared to go up and get bad side effects. If not, are you on any AAP that you like and didn't have horrible side effects? I asked her about geodon but she said that wouldn't work for me?

Does anyone have any feedback on abilify or a combo of abilify/lamictal?

Thank you!!

I'm on abilify and lamictal and don't seem to have bad side effects. I haven't been in a mania in a while but have been struggling with depression for about a year 1/2 now. Good luck with it.
