Has anyone been prescribed Sarafem? I was told today its a lower dosage of Prozac, and its easier to be weaned off..Thinking about it, but the side effects seem just as terrible as my current mood swings. Better yet anyone find evening primrose oil effective?
Thanks for this!

Sarafem is the same drug as Prozac. The drug company changed the color of the pills and geered it toward certain other conditions for added sales.

Take a gander:

I want to try evening primrose oil but I am already on many other supplements so cost is an issue for me. Maybe others have tried it.

Ya the doctor I saw told me Sarafem is a smaller dosage of Prozac. Not once did he offer to further talk about what he was trying to prescribe.
