Hey there guys! I'm new here and would appreciate some insight from anyone who experienced emotional blunting /affect flattening after been regularly for some weeks on clonazepam, 1mg/d, followed by progressively reducing daily use! Symptoms initiated while weening off, although I did it very slowly !
I'd like to hear your experiences! and

I'm currently using vyvanse 70mg +lexapro 40mg+wellbutrin xl 150mg!

I was afraid I could be getting anhedonia because of the stimulants, But I haven't abused much during my treatment!

My p'doc went to a conference in Canada last year. He was at a lecture that was on the affects of benzodiazepines. (The group to which clonazepam/paxam/klonolpin belong). Benzos do dampen our ability to feel. We may be prescribed benzo's for high levels of anxiety and they are very good at helping to do that. They will also blunt our emotions, they do it with all our emotions.

I'm not sure if you mean that your emotions are blunted while taking clonazepam or after you have stopped. I don't know if emotions are still blunted after stopping the medication.
