Anyone tried it? I am afraid to do so without my pmed's knowledge but I am afraid that if I ask, he will just put me on a higher dose that will have side effects. Certain foods/diets offer some elements of Lithium, so now I am trying a special diet rich in lithium.

I suggest that you talk with your clinical care team before self-medicating with a lithium-rich diet.

The therapeutic:toxic window of lithium for Bipolar I is quite narrow (I don't know about Bipolar II) - too little is not helpful, too much can be toxic, leading to potentially serious kidney issues among other things.
