Hi, been taking escitalopram 5mg since monday, upped to 10mg today. i had sleeping problems so at night i take also quetiapine 25mg which helped me good to fall asleep. but since yesterday i get enormous restless legs and cant fall asleep anymore. can escitalopram cause restless legs or is it the combination with quetiapine? i hope the escitalopram soon starts to work against my stress and depression so i can put aside the quetiapine anyway.

Dx: Mix anhedonia with Bipolar II. Add some insomnia and chronic stress. Season with paroxetine and a pinch of ADD. Stir well to induce a couple of hypo/manic episodes. After the excess of energy is gone, remove the Paroxetine and serve chilled with some C-PTSD and GAD. Ready is your MDD.

Mx: To clean up the mess use lamotrigine, r
isperidon, mirtazapine and sertraline. Let it soak in for a while but keep a close eye on it. Meanwhile enjoy your desert of oxazepam/temazepam prn.

Some other people described restless legs - I have no experience with that.
Here are the links to Psych Central posts or blogs.

I have never never experienced that as a symptom before, but of course, everyone is different.
I hope this med starts working well for you!
(It's been a great one for me with little side effects compared to some others.)
