After I taper off Klonopin, I need to taper off of Ambien. Anyone know how to do that. I have asked countless doctors, psychiatrists and pharmacists but received no answers. It's like a big secret.
I am only hoping that on a forum this large, there might be someone who knows how and would be willing to share. Thank you.

How long have you been taking the Ambien and do you take it every night?

I have taken regular Ambien off and on for several years. I don't notice any withdrawal effects if I stop it. If I stop it when my sleep is messed up, I'll have insomnia, but I had that before I started taking it.

Apparently some people do suffer a withdrawal syndrome when they stop it. I have read where people say that happens to them. I imagine someone on this site will know more.
