Has anyone else had a very bad experience when you tried to stop taking seroquel. I take anywhere between 200mg - 400mg to help me sleep but I have noticed it helps me be less anxious. I take it before bed and i've been taking it for over 2 and a half years. Well, I am getting tired of it maknig me feel like a zombie sometimes at night so I took an extreamily low dose for 3 nights and then didn't take it for one night. I fell into a state of depression, kept having panic attacks and just couldn't function. Now i've started taking it regularly and i'm starting to feel mentally better already. Has anyone else experienced something like this with this drug ? My doctor said I may not need it but I guess he was wrong.
Thanks for your input. ~Lia crazymusiclvr@aol.com |

I was on seroquel for awhile and when I quit taking it my anxiety increased and I had insomnia. My depression also came back. Of course, that makes sense, I was taking for depression and anxiety. My pdoc slowly decreased my dose over a long period of time—that seemed to help. I had to quit taking it because I felt like a zombie.
