My doc has prescribed me Fetzima, I was wondering if anyone is taking this and has some experience. (I know that everyone is different and there for the med is different for everyone) I just know it is a newer drug and I have a medication problem. ( I do NOT like to take medication!) I do however take Klonopin daily usually .125 in the am and .125 in the afternoon to survive the day while we are changing meds.

I take Cymbalta, which is in the same drug family, the SNRIs. I saw one person post on this forum that they were taking Fetzima and that it was working well for them.
A pharmacist told me that it didn't do very well in its clinical trials. I guess I'm trying to say to be happy if it works for you but not surprised if it doesn't. That's pretty much true of all psych meds, though. |

I take Fetzima and have been very pleased with the results. It's the first one that finally pulled me out of my two year bout with depression. I haven't really had any side effects from the Fetzima. I also take a mood stabilizer, Saphris, which does knock me out but I take it at bedtime so that I sleep well.

I took this today and have had a horrible day! It started off okay but about 6 hours in the racing heart started and lightheaded Ness and just feeling horrible along with constant nausea! I feel as if I have no emotions at all! Every so often my heart begins racing again! I will be so glad when this med wears off!
