I just want to make sure this is an ideal mindset with med.. Then do you stick with it indefinitely? What if its only some relief?? As with me. And does this motto apply to ANY psych meds that work for you. AntiAnxiety, etc, off-label, and so forth?

Welll....yes, I think trying this and that medication/s until you find which work best...then stick with it until/if it no longer works, then find another medication/s...I've found that different meds work differently throughout my life. It's not fun. Mental illness is a curse, as far as I can see. But we have to do what works for us.

And yes, sometimes off-label...the ONLY medication that is really helping me with severe anxiety at this time is Inderal.

That's been my experience so far. Once I find something that kind of works, my pdoc has me stick with it and see if adding other things helps even more. If not, we change things around. I've talked with this extensively with my pdoc and he says it just depends on the person. He's got some patients that have been on the same med and stable for 10+ years, and others that have to change things around as their mood cycles.
