The medical community has destigmatized ketamine and other NMDA / Dissociative drugs for therapt (MDMA would be another huge step) but this is something to keep an eye on, because it's really novel and may be a path out of the SRI drugs which seem to cause more problems than solutions, and the whole '4-6 weeks' to take effect. Here's a direct link to the work they are doing at the Ketamine Clinic
The two new drugs in the pipeline are esketamine for oral administration, and have been shown to immediately improve severe and treatment resistant depression when administered IV. -- "Dr. Abdallah gave 13 patients a single dose of #ketamine. Ten had reduced symptoms of #depression within 24 hours.' https://bbrfoundation.org/brain-matt...ss-of-ketamine http://mentalhealthdaily.com/2014/12...eptor-agonist/ https://www.ketamineclinics.com/ Another interesting one is acamprosate (Campral) which is in the same general arena and is effective in stopping drug cravings and protecting the brain. -- So don't lose hope.. this is a total right turn in mental health pharmacology. MDMA (Ecstasy) is a massively useful therapy drug as well and many clinics are in South America and have shown amazing results. It's legal there, not here.. that's all. Thanks for reading. I rolled hard once 400 mg pure MDMA and I can see how that can change your perspective on life. I accepted myself and I was CALM.
Ketamine we definitely need to research that more. |

Ketamine can destroy your serotonin receptors - it can kink the ends of them- there are studies done on monkeys with drugs that flood serotonin like k - you could alter your brain forever - just sayin
