I have been struggling with depression disorder from childhood. Recently, I was diagnosed also with defficit attention disorder but I have not treated it formally, (even though I think it is right).

Since I am very forgetful and distracted I have skipped some doses every now and then. At first Wellbutrin SR worked very well. Later I started to loose the boost, so I changed to Wellbutrin XL 300, but now I am still getting sleepy and slow all day.

Last week I skiped like three doses. What are the side effects of sikiping doses this often? I intend not to do it again but, still.....

I hope someone can give me some information. Thank you all!!
Greetings
Hugs from:

Sorry you missed or skipped doses. Not skipping is less risk of unpleasant side affects.

There are some posts about this from previous posters that may help

Psych Central - Search results for Skipping does wellbutrin xl 300

Many people who are actively involved in Psych Central find it helps take them out of their own problems to develop empathy for others. And their problems though still there are more manageable.

Not that you should ever skip meds, but.... Can you try setting them next to your toothbrush or something? I put mine next to my perfume, so I remember to take them before using perfume and leaving, but anyway, missing a dose or two shouldn't do much. Its half life is pretty long (21 hrs), so you have some in your system for quite a while.

Hello and welcome to Psych Central Mariana!!! It's nice to meet you. You have joined a community of warm and caring members who will want to offer you support and advice. Yours is welcome as well.

Please feel free to contact any community liaisonor moderator by left clicking on their name in blue to the left of their post if you need help navigating the forums. It will take some time for your first five posts to appear as they are being evaluated and then you will be able to join chats.

I've only experienced negative side effects from missing doses of my medications. I do miss taking them every now and then but I try and take them as scheduled.

I look forward to seeing you around!!!
