pdoc dx'd with GAD ( among other things) he gave meds to treat for that just wondering if that will also help for social anxiety, which is more of a problem for me.

As far as I know the meds are the same for both, but honestly, I think CBT is more effective for social anxiety. I had a really bad problem with social anxiety a few years ago and was actually diagnosed with social phobia. I did an 8 week CBT group specifically for social phobia, and it really helped me a lot - more than any meds did.

I think the meds should help with both but agree to counseling would be helpful.

Best wishes,

That's pretty interesting. Both are fine medications. Have years of experience individually and as a combo with each.

Dosages? How is it coming along so far? Very curious. Thanks for sharing with the group.
