Okay, so I'm bipolar and have been trying to go off my antipsychotic called abilify. I'm on another mood stabilizer called lamictal too. What are the side effects of going off abilify?

I've gone off abilify a few times. I find it helpful but it wears off for me and if I go off and back on a few months later it works again for 5 or 6 months. I have tapered rather quickly and have had no withdrawals. I wouldn't go off cold turkey, though.

Whatever you do, don't stop lamictal quickly. I was on the same cocktail as you and quit lamictal instead. Worst depression I'd ever had. Sorry can't help on the Abilify.
