Hi there. I'm hoping someone that has anxiety/bipolar can tell me which medications theyve had the best luck on. I understand everybodys body reacts differently! But just thought id ask.

I am 21 and diagnosed with Bipolar 2 and crippling anxiety(Hypochondria, social and ocd)

Ive been seeing mental health doctors since I was about 7.
I have been on soo many medications that did not work. Anxiety medications all dont work for me, same with anti depressants. The only medication that some what changed my life was Invega(an anti psychotic) but Im going to ask to be taken off of it due to extremely high prolactin levels that is basically causing me infertility.

I have a doctors appointment in a few weeks so I will defiantly be talking to my doc about my options

Hi,

I have bipolar and GAD. I'm having good success with the Prozac, Lamictal, Latuda, Welbutrin combo listed below. Have you tried Paxil? Are you self-medicating at all w alcohol or drugs?

I have had decent success with Seroquel (helps sleep, mood stabilizer), Geodon (seems to be an excellent mood stabilizer), and Inderal (Inderal helps calm severe anxiety).

Thanks all. I went to my doctor today and he put me on Abilify. I appreciate everybodys comments
