a) Paxil helped me the most with panic disorder and generalized anxiety.
b) Still trying to figure that out. I'm in a major depressive episode right now, and we're trying to figure out what will help. Prozac helped with depression but sent my anxiety through the roof. Effexor had negative psychological side effects. Cymbalta seemed to help slightly, then stopped, so my dose was recently increased from 60 to 90 mg. Fingers crossed...

I'm on several meds but the one that helps anxiety and depression is Paxil, also the mood stabilizer I'm on Depakote keeps my moods from going to extremes

Paxil is rather nice. Several of the SSRIs have helped relieve anxiety and depression for me.

Giving up alcohol was also crutial.

Klonopin has worked well for my anxiety

Fetzima has been working pretty well on the depression now for the last year.

a) Seroquel with Xanax as needed
b) abilify added to the seroquel

Abilify is very stimulating for me, but I tend to have odd reactions to drugs. If I'm experiencing super high anxiety, I have to decrease Abilify and increase Xanax. If I start slipping in to depression, I decrease Xanax and increase Abilify. The Seroquel is constant and has brought my baseline anxiety way down and leveled out my moods.

For me my big change for the better (after a year of changing every other month) was Latuda & Lamictal. Latuda at 40mg and Lamictal at 200mg. And then Klonopin twice daily for anxiety.

Updating my post to say:

Cymbalta 90 mg has been quite effective against depression. At 60 mg, it was only a bit effective, but once I switched to 90, I felt a difference literally after the first dose.
