I was given Latuda for bi-polar depression and it worked like a charm. Unfortunately, my new insurance won't cover it and, no surprise, I can't afford to pay cash for it.

I realize Latuda is the best of the best, but I'm wondering what would be a cost effective alternative. I'm guessing I'm bound for Seroquel...

Drives me insane (no pun intended ) that we have to pay for insurance that won't pay for what we need.........ARGH!!!!

I am so sorry that you are having to change meds bc your insurance won't pay. Maybe you could get help as blue_bird suggested....otherwise I hope it's an easy switch!

I tried sedatives and antipsychotics for sleep+ other stuff and I get a tolerance from it and get off

Melatonin doesn't work for me

But benadryl does for some reason even tho it's OTC . Try it mayb

Geodon is what I switched to when my insurance stopped covering Latuda. And like you said there is always Seroquel.
