So, I was on Topamax for a few weeks and the side effects were unbearable and so I made an emergency appointment with my pdoc.

I saw him today discussed everything and now he's thinking I should try Latuda.

Has anyone had any experience with this med good or bad?

We made the decision to just stay on my base meds (lithium, Wellbutrin xl and clonazepam) track my mood and I see him again in 6 weeks. From there we will make the choice of Latuda or no Latuda.

Any and all info is hugely appreciated!

Latuda is a fairly new med in my personal experience. I've tried it for two patients before, both for established bipolar disorder. For one young lady it has worked very well at 20 mg with low dose sertraline 50 mg. The other patient could not tolerate it as it was far too sedating for her.
Thanks for this!
