Unfortunately, olanzapine is well known for causing weight gain. I was on it for a year, gained over 30% of my body weight (I was really small to begin with, so 30% of not much is still not much (15kg). But it didn't show signs of stopping, so I decided to transfer to a med that doesn't cause such immense weight gain. I'm still trying to stablise on the new meds. So far, I've had some issues switching meds and am still finding my feet. Olanzapine worked well for me, but I couldn't keep putting on weight indefinitely.
Thanks for this!

it was causing gynecomastia in me though
