That's my dose, I was at 300, I went down to 150, then back up to 200, and I'm going to ask to go back up to 250. Do you have PTSD?

No. It's a mood stabilizer (bipolar).
Thanks for this!

I'm on 175mg right now, going up to 200mg next week. My pdoc never mentioned anything about lamictal specifically relieving anxiety, which I struggle with a lot, but she did say that once I become stable, my anxiety should also begin to dissipate. I've been feeling pretty stable and I have definitely noticed a decrease in anxiety compared to even a few weeks ago. I hope the same thing happens for you.

I take Lamictal for mood stabilization, but when my anxiety and obsessive thinking got worse, my pdoc increased it stating it would help with both of those things. It has been bumped up a few times over the years, and I'm now taking 600 mgs. He tried increasing it to 800, but I had a lot of balance and coordination issues! I looked and felt drunk sometimes. He lowered it back to 600 and bumped up my Prozac and encouraged me to take my Klonopin as needed (I tend to be afraid to take it even though it helps a lot!)

I am on Lamcital and an anti-anxiety medication. My pdoc said that we needed to push the Lamictal slowly because it might inhibit the effect of the anti-anxiety medication, which would cause my anxiety levels to rise. Anxiety is my primary issue. Are you on antianxiety med too?
