family member has stopped mental health meds Is still taking her general meds. Do to a side effect. Why do they refuse? It is so difficult.

It's hard not to think you're the one in control over your disorder. And it's even more normal for them not to have an insight about there current situation. But it's only time until they realize there condition is causing them significan distress or impairing there function and they'll want here meds back.
