sorry for my bad english.
i had methamphetamine induced psychosis, and they considered me having ADHD. so they gave me 1mg of risperidone (in the morning) and 100mg and 200mg of chlorpromazine (in the afternoon and in the evening) after a week they remove the 100mg in the afternoon. what's left is 1mg risperidone in the morning and 200mg chlorpromazine in the evening. after a month, i suddenly discontinued taking the 2 medicines for thinking that i don't need it anymore. but 6 days after, i feel like i am becoming dumb, and somehow can't express my thoughts into sentence. i was scared so i continued taking the medicines again, and we get back to my doctor. they resumed my medication.. my problem right now is, when im telling a story, it feels like something is blocking my thoughts and i can't tell a story fluenty.. i also find it hard to express my thoughts into words. is it still part of adhd? what happened to me? i hope that risperidone and chlorpromazine will be able to treat it, i want to get back to school. |

I have a similar story to yours having all sorts of neurological disorders (Tourette's Syndrome, Epilepsy, Dyspraxia, Dystonia) that caused learning difficulties. Add to that, a psychosis and anxiety that made me type gibberish, or rushed short notes - not much of a story.
It was horrible writing on the web, all this scary stuff that was half factual, and getting criticised or rated down for bad English. And if I was in a half narcissistic mood, all the nasty stuff as well. I am on Risperidone, Seroquel XR, Zoloft, Topamax and Benzotrop for my mental and neurological health and things are improving with plenty of psychotherapy and acceptance of troubles so hopefully this will bring me back to university. They didn't give me stimulants for a suspected ADHD because they would make me psychotic and worsen my anxiety. So, I don't know if you have ADHD or not, but they obviously not giving you stimulants for it, for the same psychosis reasons. Have a great time, ![]() ![]() Conder |
