My psychiatrist prescribed Pristiq to me a few days ago. I was on Lexapro, and Prozac before that, but they didn't work for me. I think those were SSRI while Pristiq is SNRI. What have your experiences with Pristiq been? Or just your experience with an SNRI compared to SSRI? Any thoughts appreciated.

My meds were also changed from lexapro to pristiq. I'd been on lexapro for over a year without it working for my depression. After 6 weeks I started noticing a difference in my mood . It works, mostly.

Biggest issue I have is that if I forget to take it the next day I feel lightheaded and sick. The withdrawal is pretty intense and immediate. I'm just about to start a thread on this.
Thanks for this!
