Hi everyone!

Wondering if anyone has had any luck with Rexulti for major depression when added alongside an antidepressant?
I am currently on Pristiq 50mg, and my dr is wanting to either increase the Pristiq to 100mg, or leave it at 50mg and add Rexulti. I haven't read about much success when increasing Pristiq, so I'm interested in the Rexulti yet nervous about taking an antipsychotic. Nervous about possible side effects, and nervous about making my depression worse. Lately, it's all I can do to get out of bed. It seems like I want to sleep all day, then stay up at night, which is not normal for me. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Well..idk if this is helpful but, i take: lamictal, Wellbutrin, gabapentin and rexulti.

I've been on rexulti for two months and it's amazing!!no side effects and my moods (bipolar) are doing better recently. I really like it bc I'm super sensitive to most antipsychotics!

Good luck!

I really appreciate your response! I just started today on the Rexulti. We will see how it goes. I guess it's a week at .5mg then a week at 1mg. So far I feel ok, so I hope it works out!

Well, it's now day 3 on Rexulti at .5mg with no side effects whatsoever! I'm really excited about this and hopeful that it will turn out to be a great medication for me. Have you had any kind of side effects on the 1mg? I'll start that does in a few days.

Do either of you have any updates on how you're doing with rexulti? It's something I'm considering bringing up to my psych in a few days.
