I got a great answer but I was threadjacking so I thought I would see if anyone has some additional helpful tips or experience.
Wellbutrin has worked for me for a while, but it doesn't seem to be as effective any more. Also I can't find anything for these random anxiety attacks (physical symptoms are constant, it seems). So I managed to get myself off to the GP. She has given me a prescription for Effexor. She didn't tell me to wean off Wellbutrin. I took one and had horrible anxiety all day. It was horrible. So now I'm scared to take any more (I am still taking Wellbutrin). I am not sure I can handle the 2 or so weeks of getting used to a new drug. So, should I give it another go? I suppose I'm also scared that I will just sink further down without realizing it (and, so, be unable to reach out to tell anybody). And I am scared that this is as good as I can get ![]() Help, please. |

I'm on both and it seems to work well. I was on the effexor for at least a year before the wellbutrin. I think the effexor was good for anxiety. The wellbutrin helped with my energy so I didn't sleep all day..
