About an anxiety med because the adjustments she made to my other meds arent working at all. I'm kinda scared I know the chances are minimal she'll give me a benzo as she knows I'm in recovery in AA but just need something that'll work.

I hope that you are able to get something that works for you. I have been known to get frustrated with docs who try to micromanage one's recovery. I've been sober now for twenty-three years, give me a little credit for understanding my own addiction.
Thanks for this!

My pdoc, who is an AA guy with 20 some years of sobriety, prescribes Xanax for me (28 yrs sober). I tell him I am scared of addiction, he says to take it anyway. I take it for anxiety but also for DID and insomnia. He thinks it is a bad idea for me to go more than a couple of days with little rest. I hope your NP can prescribe something. Have you tried hydroxyzine? It works fast and I think is not addictive. I've been taking it to fall asleep lately and it seems to work as well as Xanax.

Thanks. We'll see how tomorrow goes with the NP. I'm hoping for a PRN of some sort...ativan, xanax, something of that nature. I don't know. Just need relief...YESTERDAY!

Took a lot of promising not to take more than agreed but she eventually caved to 15 pills at 0.5mg and I am to take no more than a half of one a day. Feel like she is trying to manage my sobriety but if this is what it take to help me get it under control then so be it. Hopefully I can find alternatives to the klonopin then wont need it. But I got something.
