Am i likely to feel terrible after stopping pristiq suddenly after only taking it for 2 weeks 2 days?
Im breastfeeding and my son has suddenly become excessively sleepy so i want to stop asap. A little nervous... and also sad because it is working so well and i dont want to go back to my depression!! ![]() |

What Yoda said, it's probably best to talk to your doctor about it, my guess is that it won't be as bad as if you took it for longer.

Hi all thanks for the replies. My doctor told me to wait a few days before deciding to stop or switch because the symptoms of sleepiness in my baby had only just shown up after 2 weeks .. sure enough he was back to normal after 2 days. Doc said probably fighting off a bug or growth spurt.. so i stayed on the meds. Glad I can because they are working wonderfully!
