I've been on Lexapro 20mg for about 2 months now. I have been on Wellbutrin (now 300mg) since maybe July. I went from Celexa to Lexapro because things just weren't working. Since they are so similar, I really can't see why I've been having awful side effects, especially this far down the road.

Does anyone have experience with these meds? I also just started BC (lorestrin) last Thursday (3/17). I feel like the shakiness began during my transition to lexapro. We tried weaning off the Wellbutrin too, but I had excessive tiredness to the point where I'd fall asleep at the wheel. So after about 2 weeks, we went back up to my regular dose. The shakiness wasn't terrible at first. I noticed it though during art therapy - my projects are a mess because I can't control my hands. We were gluing words from magazines and I had glue all over the paper. Most recently I was threading beads and could not for the life of my get my wire through a slit in my paper. Today, I couldn't even put a key into a cabinet lock.

Do you think this is normal and I should just tolerate it? Or is this really concerning? My next psych appt is 5/9..

Also food is not an issue. I've been eating, especially when I notice the shaking and it doesn't help. I've limited caffeine intake too but I'm way past the withdrawal period since I stopped drinking insane amounts of coffee.

I wish I had a good answer for you. I have an extreme tremor (hands and mouth) from Latuda. I take a low dose of Proponalol, but it's not helping with the shakiness.

I had tremors from Zoloft but not when I was on Lexa pro or Wellbutrin, but every body is different. For me, the extreme tremors lasted two weeks, and them for three months I'd still have tremors when I was asleep, or relaxed/falling asleep.

Hello. I don't know if it was Zoloft or Lexapro, but I had shaking episodes. Like, my body would shake for a good 2 hours. So I couldn't reach 15 mgs because of this (dumb) side effect. So I could see hand shakiness as a side effect. I suggest you tell your doctor. Hope you feel better .

My pdoc just increased my Proponalol (Inderal) for the tremor I have. Have you spoken with your provider, Bassett Hound?
