I was on 10mg of Lexapro for 2 years but I recently started to become quite anxious again so the doctor upped the dose to 15mg. That was 2 weeks ago but I've felt no effect, just the anxiety worsening. Is this normal? How long will it take to feel the effects of the upped dose?

When I upped my dose from 5mg to 10mg, I became manic. The effects kicked in overnight. So, I know it's possible to feel the effects rather quickly.

I don't know about anxiety, but I just thought I would mention that.

Personally, I don't think it's normal not to feel anything. I would talk to my pdoc about it

I agree with bluebicycle. It seems that you should feel some relief of your anxiety after 2 weeks. I know it can take several weeks for the full effects of a medication to happen, but two weeks is a long time not to feel any relief.
