My PCP wants me to take a low dose of Celexa to help me gain weight. Does Celexa cause an increase in appetite or just cause fluid retention? Gaining weight due to fluid retention seems a senseless way to put weight on someone who can't eat enough to be healthy - what's the health benefit of fluid retention? My T wants me on an antidepressant - and to gain weight for my health. Why do I have the feeling someone's not thinking this through properly???
